Benefiting Families of Dallas Police Officers. White Rock 5K race starts 8am Winfrey Point White Rock Lake. Race day registration will be available from 6:30 am to 7:45 am. 2012 Carry the Load (White Rock)

Trek for one hour—Trek for 20 hours. Just carry more than you have to, further than you think you can. The purpose of Carry The Load is to honor and steer resources to, wounded or fallen officers, fire fighters and service men who "Carry the Load" for us daily. Join us Sunday, May 29, at 3:30 pm to "Carry the Load" for up to 20 hours and 11 minutes.  Participate on your own, with family or on a team through the night and end Monday, May 30, Memorial Day at 12:11 pm. The course is a 9.3-mile loop around White Rock Lake, beginning at the Bath House. For more information please click here.

2012 Freedom Run 5k

The Freedom Run opening ceremonies will include presentations honoring the heroes and victims of 9/11 as well as our local fallen first responders. The 5K Freedom Run and Bill Carollo One-Mile Walk will begin at Dallas City Hall Plaza at the Dallas Dodge Starting Line. Course continues around Dallas Union Station and Union Park, and then returns to the plaza where participants are invited to attend the Freedom Festival, featuring a live musical performance by Independent George. The Annual Bill Carollo Golf Tournament

Hosted by the Sherrill Park Golf Course in Richardson. Registration begins at 10:00AM. There will be a Putting Tournament & Lunch served at 11:00 a.m. by Burger Girl, followed by the official 4 man shotgun start at noon. It has been several months since I got injured in the line of duty. During that time I have thought on how I can express my appreciation for the Assist the Officer Foundation. To this day there are no words to describe or express how much it meant. It just happened to come at the right time. Even though I wouldn't wish that any Officer get hurt, all I can say is "Thank You", for being there to help!
