About Bags for Badges
Bags for Badges started as an idea in 2014 when a small group of Dallas Police Association Spouses wanted to find a way to raise money for Assist The Officer Foundation. We spent hours upon hours planning for our first event without knowing if we would raise any money. People told us we would be lucky to break even. After our first year we realized we were onto something. Each year we have been able to raise more money than the previous year for Assist the Officer. More importantly, we have established ourselves as a group of dedicated, strong spouses who support each other.
About DPA Spouses Behind the Badge
The mission of “Spouses Behind the Badge” is dedicated to supporting current and retired Spouses of Dallas Police Officers who are members of the Dallas Police Association through monthly activities, volunteerism in the community and serve as a resource to an officer’s family in the event of a serious injury or line of duty death. We are committed to delivering the above with a sense of warmth, friendliness, and individual pride.
